Nicole Carey, PhD.
Nicole Carey, PhD, is a results-oriented organizational strategist and social scientist based in Indianapolis. As the founder of Convergence Global, JUST Community Inc., and Anda Spanish, she leads interdisciplinary teams focused on strategic, data-driven insights and organizational effectiveness. Nicole’s approach integrates design thinking and systems-level analysis to support organizations in diagnosing challenges and developing effective, customized solutions. Her work is grounded in a belief that insight-driven strategy leads to long-lasting, transformational change. In addition to her professional roles, Nicole serves on the Indianapolis Public School Board for District 5 and is a mother of five, bringing both analytical rigor and real-world perspective to her leadership.

Alex Hicks is a dedicated women’s health advocate with a strong background in public health, program management, data analysis, and community engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. Over her career, Alex has established herself as a trusted leader in research, cross-functional collaboration, and equity-driven strategies, with experience spanning the public health, nonprofit, and research sectors. Her diverse portfolio includes work on COVID-19 vaccine trials, HIV prevention for homeless populations, vaccine hesitancy and promotion, and breast and cervical cancer prevention, to name a few. Alex believes that data-driven decision-making is essential to eliminating health disparities and building healthier, more resilient communities.
